From Birmingham Mutual Aid:
SOS.
We’re panicking and need our community to step in and help us restock so we can feed everyone who is counting on us. We are DESPERATELY low on food. Not only do we not have enough food to fill the little free pantry out front for our neighbors, we barely have enough groceries to feed one food box friend next week, let alone over 80 of them.
Please, if you can make a one time food donation this week, we’d be so grateful. If you can commit to dropping food regularly, you’d be guaranteeing that we can keep feeding as many families as possible every week.

This is about more than just food. It’s about community. It’s about justice. It’s about dignity. It’s a demand. It’s a protest against the unjust systems that say who deserves to eat, who doesn’t and who deserves to eat what. Food is a right. We’re pleading with you to stand next to us and say that also.
